5th Annual Food Drive - ANOTHER SUCCESS!!!!

When we arrived at the New Lenox Township Food Pantry and the New Life Church Food Pantry, their inventory levels were very low.  The Church told us they were concerned about not being able to meet their needs through the holiday season.  However, thanks to Cub Scout Pack 49 and our friends in Cub Scout Pack 94, Boy Scout Troops 44, 49 and 55, and the New Lenox Girl Scouts, the pantries have been filled once again. 

This year we collected over 5,000 food items.  This was a significant increase to the 2,200 items collected in 2007.  We are very proud of the children who volunteered their time to help others in need.  We would also like to thank those in the community who donated food.
